Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often about how Allaris works, what it costs to get started, and what you should know before connecting an account.

What exactly does Allaris do?

Allaris analyzes trading strategies using automated, rules-based methods and offers a copy-trading feature that lets you mirror selected strategies in your own brokerage or exchange account. We are a technology provider — the decisions about which strategies to follow and how much capital to allocate remain yours.

Is Allaris a licensed financial advisor?

No. Allaris provides software tools and data-driven analysis, not personalized financial advice. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy or sell any specific asset. You should evaluate whether any strategy is appropriate for your circumstances, and consider speaking with a qualified, licensed advisor before making financial decisions.

How does the copy-trading feature actually work?

Once you connect a supported account, you can choose a strategy to follow. Allaris then mirrors the strategy's trade signals in proportion to the settings you configure, such as allocation size and risk limits. You retain full control and can pause or disconnect at any time.

Which accounts or brokers can I connect?

Supported connections depend on the platforms we currently integrate with. During onboarding, you'll see the specific account types and providers available to you at that time, along with any requirements for setting up the connection securely.

How is each strategy evaluated before it's made available?

Strategies go through our internal analysis process, which looks at historical rule consistency, drawdown behavior, and other structural factors. This analysis is based on past data and methodology, not a guarantee of future results. Markets change, and past performance does not predict future performance.

What are the risks involved?

All trading and copy-trading activity carries risk, including the possible loss of capital. Automated strategies can underperform, be delayed by technical issues, or behave differently than expected in unusual market conditions. You should only allocate capital you are prepared to put at risk and review the risk settings available to you carefully.

Can I set limits on how much is allocated or traded?

Yes. You can configure allocation size and other risk parameters within your account settings before enabling a strategy. We recommend reviewing these settings regularly, especially as your account balance or goals change.

How much does it cost to use Allaris?

Pricing details, including any applicable fees for analysis tools or copy-trading access, are presented during onboarding and before you commit to a plan. We don't publish fixed figures here since offerings can vary by account type and feature set.

Can I stop or pause copy-trading at any time?

Yes. You can pause a followed strategy or disconnect your account from the copy-trading feature whenever you choose. Doing so stops new trades from being mirrored, though any open positions may need to be managed separately depending on your broker's own settlement process.

How is my account data and connection kept secure?

We use industry-standard practices to handle account connections and data. We do not share account credentials beyond what is required for the integration to function. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Do I need trading experience to get started?

No prior trading experience is required to explore the platform, but we encourage you to take time to understand how a strategy works, what its risk profile looks like, and how copy-trading settings affect your account before enabling anything live.

Who can I contact if I have a question that isn't answered here?

You can reach out through our Contact page, and we'll do our best to help with questions about setup, features, or your account.
